- I'm 47, married, and living in Southern California. I moved here from Ohio 5 or 6 years ago (dates are not my forte) to marry a man I met on a cruise in the Caribbean. Fun story, rocky marriage, but still together. I have stepchildren--one older than me--grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. You'll learn about them as times goes on.

After the roller coaster of the last two years, I quit asking that question. It just leads down a road that need not be taken.
@blonde--you're right. It's been 5 years since I started asking why and I haven't found any answers yet. I feel better when I ignore "why" and just either deal with it or let it fly right over my head and not touch me.
