When I read other blogs, I try to get into the spirit of the post. I try to comment accordingly. I'm not out to make people feel bad or to make fun of them or whatever. I'm just trying to be a part of it all.
A few bloggers have been deleting my comments lately and I really don't know why. If I've offended, I apologize. If I've horned in where I'm not wanted--again, sorry.
I'll still check in and read these blogs, but I'll refrain from commenting.
I guess I just don't get it. H'mmmmmmmmm . . .

There are very few instances that would prompt me to delete a comment!
Spam, of course, is deleted, and if someone were to attack one of my readers or my children ( I feel i am fair game as the author of my blog) that would be deleted.
Uhm. yeah, that's about the only reasons i can think of to delete a comment!
also, not ONCE have you typed something offensive or inappropriate on my blog!
I would consider emailing the bloggers in question and ask if the comment was deleted or if it was marked as spam by their anti spam and was taken without their consent...that happens to me sometimes, I will find comments in my spam file
Some people only want to hear what THEY want to hear, and be damned with anyone else showing them another side. Bah..... don't worry about it.
I only delete racist or generally offensive comments. I had one guy I had to keep deleting one time because he was harshing on African-Americans really hard.(Names and everything) Yeah I want you to have an opinion, but be a better human being, ya know?
Aww! what poops! Please tell me I'm not one of them! I'm an equal op publisher. unless it's a shameless plug for a product...(I only remember deleting one this week...)

I would send a very nice note to the author's email and ask if your comments have been derailed to the spam pile, or is it possible that you have offended.
I have four or five regular commenters who go to spam no matter how many times I mark them otherwise!! But I also know of a few folks who automatically delete spam without even looking to see if something else slipped throught the radar.

I haven't deleted any of your comments. I like them! I have someone commenting! I'll check my spam though.
The only time I have ever deleted a comment is if it was outright spam and the one time someone called me a horse f**ker.
It's my blog and I don't need stuff like that on it, just because someone wants to be mean.

I know what you mean about people that comment (in a positive manner)--woo hoo! I'm actually being read and thought about--awesome feeling!
As for the meanies--there's a special section in hell for them--they need to get a life and stop spreading their own personal misery around.
